Here are some fun Arizona Diamondbacks facts I found here on the web today. Fun fact #1: On March 31, 1998 the Arizona Diamondbacks played their first regular
season baseball game. It was a home game at Bank One Ballpark. They
lost the game to Colorado, 9-2. Andy Benes was the pitcher. Fun Fact #2: The Diamondbacks won their first game on April 4, 1998. They beat San Francisco 3-2. Fun Fact #3: Later in that first year the Arizona Diamondbacks won seven
games in a row. That tied the record for the longest winning streak by
any expansion team in history.

Spider-man Fiber Optic Costume Huge Surprise Hit this Halloween.
Burlington, KY, 11/9/05 — The latest technology is transforming
costumes and Halloween will never be the same. Disguise Inc.
released a new version of the always popular Spider-man costume this
Halloween season and it was a surprise hit among young trick or
treaters.
The Spider-man Fiber Optic Costume uses fiber optic technology, which
is quickly making their way into main stream products, to create a
glowing effect in different areas of the costume. The fiber optic
strands on the Spider-man costume lights up around the eyes and the
spider on the chest of the costume. Four button cell batteries
are used to create this effect (two in the hood and two in the jumpsuit.
SpideyShop.com, one of the largest online retailers of Spiderman
costumes, were caught off guard by the demand of the costume. “We
purchased a large supply of the costume but sold out of the fiber optic
version long before our costume rush ended” said Smith Doubet
Purchasing Manger for SpideyShop.com.
Next year, now that many saw the fiber optic costume for the first
time, demand is expected to increase much more. Assuring that
Halloween from this point forward will be a little less dark and a lot
more fun.
